Born and raised in East Tennessee, CS Johnson grew up with campfires, ghost stories, and a mother with a Stephen King and Poe collection.
Dark tales were always in abundance in her neck of the woods, and her taste in genre fiction has seldom varied, even though she does read textbooks to study ancient history.
